What is Go?
GO, (chin. "Wei Qi", jap. "I Go", kor. "Baduk"): Go is an East Asian board game for two persons and at the age of over 4.000 years the oldest board game of the world. Go is played with lenticular black and white game stones on a playing field that consists of 19x19 lines. The game stones are put onto the intersections of the lines. The aim of the game is to separate areas of free intersections (= 1 point per intersection) as big as possible with own stones. At the same time opponents stones can be caught by complete encirclement (= 1 point per prisoner). Who has more points at the end of the game wins.
